The assessment of photovoltaic plant performance (P/R) is now carried out by many monitoring systems for photovoltaic plants.
In these past few years, industry operators , especially investors, have requested more and more accurate measurements in order to determine the real energetic and financial performances with greater precision.
Soluzione Solare has designed a new temperature gauge for photovoltaic modules, Temmeter, which is based on a PT100 temperature sensor, with adhesive fixing.
It is a product which is more economical than the Temmeter PRO with mechanical spring fixing, though it isn’t any less efficient!
In fact, for planning purposes, a more economical temperature sensor was designed by simplifying its construction, without diminishing any of its measurement accuracy.
The tests which were done have shown an interesting response time; in fact, in its simplicity this product has architectural details which make it very interesting in terms of:
- Speed of response to temperature variation (<5 s., for increasing temperature; <25 s. for decreasing temperature);
- Powerful adhesiveness on surfaces with low surface tension such as is the Tedlar;
- Measurement precision above the required standards (PT100 class A sensor );
- Shielded cable.
Furthermore, its white plastic casing which is resistant to high temperatures and not hygroscopic, has a neutral behavior in temperature measurement. On the other hand, a metallic coating tends to return the eventual radiation received in terms of an increase in temperature, which influences the size of the body temperature to be measured.
Temmeter is a temperature sensor which , while still keeping the high quality characterizing our products, offers an economical solution for monitoring temperature.
It’s easy to install thanks to the adhesive surface, and its high reliability level, making it a suitable choice for monitoring its own plant.
Upon request, Temmeter comes with an M8 3 poles connector, enabling to connect it directly to our 485 Sunmeter photovoltaic sensor, by simplifying wiring and reading processes and managing to directly read the Temmeter data digitally.
To whomever would request it, the diagrams of the comparative tests carried out are available.
